Environmental Packaging Policy
At Pretty Little Duck we love our planet and we’re on a mission to improve our environmental processes to keep our planet as safe as the parcels you receive. We are committed to continuously sourcing and using environmentally friendly packaging wherever possible.
Crumpled Paper
The paper we use is 100% recycled, neutral ph kraft paper and is recyclable and biodegradable. Please recycle.
Shredded Cardboard
The shredded cardboard is recyclable so please treat it as you would your other cardboard waste.
Loose Fill
‘EcoFlo’ is 100% biodegradable, made from sustainable raw materials in a low energy manufacturing process.
Please re-use this loose fill, recycle with cardboard, paper or recycle through composting.
Air Strips
These biodegradable air cushions reduce the plastic pollution and the volume of plastic going to landfill.
These air cushions can be recycled in the appropriate waste stream or recycled in home or commercial composting facilities.
Bubble Bags
These bubble bags are 100% oxo-biodegradable, resulting in a reduction in plastic pollution and therefore can be recycled in the appropriate waste stream.
Outer Boxes and Tape
Pretty Little Ducks boxes and tape are made from 100% recycled board and we also reuse packaging from our eco-conscious suppliers, therefore contributing to reductions in carbon emissions and landfill waste.
These boxes and tape are recyclable so please treat them as you would your other cardboard waste.
Third Party Packaging
Thankfully we live in a world where awareness of our impact on the environment is increasing at a pace and our supplier factories are mindful to use recycled board and plastics whenever possible.
